Having left school with no qualifications other than an A in disliking going to school, I started work at a shoe shop, quickly moving on to the local Poodle Parlour, washing dogs.
Animals and children were my passion, and with seven grandchildren, still are.
Always disappearing into books my imagination flourished.
An avid reader but continually being disappointed by teachers who didn’t give me a mark for the story I had written about my pets because they supposed I had copied it from a book. Well my latest pet is a dog called Tilly who was the inspiration for ‘Tilly’s Tails’.
